Added housing development plans are largely dependent on an ever increasing number of people living in / moving to a given state. One of the objectives of communism is to make it more and more difficult for people to live independently in rural areas and own private property, and to control how and where people live. One of the main ways they reach this goal is by using crises in other states and cities as an opportunity to bum-rush the more rural areas of the country, using population and unwanted development to raise the cost of living and "blow it up", both economically and culturally. It is a part of the "comprehensive blueprint for the reorganization of human society". This plan was known first as Agenda 21. Its second iteration was the Millennium Project; It's third iteration was Agenda 2030; Its fourth and hopefully final iteration is the "Green New Deal". In other words, this is a deliberate assault, which is why county commissioners who support such efforts never listen to objections and the true market. This makes it tyranny, not capitalism and freedom, putting them in violation of their oath of office to "Protect and Defend the Constitution". This includes the sale of public land, which equals the theft of that land from the citizens and the county to which the land belongs. One way to stop such plans from materializing is by taking away the reason for their existence - an ever increasing population.
Republicans, sincere democrats and independents can all unify behind this issue in growing numbers, and communicate with all the candidates for governor, as well as candidates for local offices; Let them know that one of the defining issues for true Floridians is whether they will limit the amount of migration into the state and counties to the number of people either leaving or passing away. By keeping it a 1:1 ratio like this, you remove most, if not all of the reason for their existence, and such developments can be eliminated. Another way is to get on all the public discussion forums where people from other states are sharing their thoughts / questions regarding moving to Florida. Communicate with the prospects directly, as well as make original postings regarding the true conditions in the state, and let them know in your own way not to come.
"Red" states are not obliged to be a sanctuary for every ailing citizen from every city and state, any more than the United States is obliged to be the sanctuary for every ailing "migrant" from around the world.

"BETZ FARM. Not just another piece of land. It's land that is owned by the county. It's the citizens. Betz farm is not a place that can be mitigated or replaced. It's history, It has springs, wetlands, 400 year old oak trees, saw palmetto palms thousands of years old and its also an area that recharges our aquifer. In hurricane helene the waters from the storm surge filled Betz farm. It saved the surrounding communities. The behavior or our commissioners was out of control. They made a ruling against their own rules. We the people have had enough. Crystal river cannot continue to be destroyed. If Betz Farm comes down crystal river will be destroyed. 3 of the Comissoners gave us the people a middle finger to the face. Basically this is what u want.....ok ...well never mind just kidding...
When a great leader such as president Trump tries to be "moderate" or "balanced" in selecting people for different positions, to try and not appear "radical", it always turns out badly. With such selections, there is always higher inertia when it comes to both solving real problems and honoring justice, and it amounts to an unnecessary waste of time. This is because, due to the "progressive" agenda that has been operating in this country, what is considered "radical" or "far right" today was simply the everyday standard in the 1980's.
