There has been a question posed to various candidates / public figures, as to whether they would be willing to put a "One year moratorium" on data centers in their area or state.
This is a trick question, because if a person answers "yes" to the moratorium, it implies that they would be willing to allow for a data center after one year, or whatever the given time span.
The real answer is in the state or county constitution, its bylaws, codes and regulations. They seldom, if ever make provision for any such development.
Thus the real question is whether the public figure will honor the existing state and local rules, and if the rules do seem to allow for such a development, whether they are willing to tighten the rules so that they do not.

Rom Reddy, candidate for the South Carolina Governorship, comes from the private sector as a long-standing successful business man, and graduated from the Warton School of Business, like President Trump. He, not Pam Evette, contributed 7 figures to President Trump's campaign. Yet he is the only one in the race who is not accepting any campaign contributions, and he seeks no one's endorsement. This is likely why he didn't receive President Trump's endorsement.
