The concern as to how prone students and some young adults are to socialism or communism, is the end result of the lack of good parenting and leadership they had in the home. In many cases, this was virtually non-existent, and the parents or relatives passively let the school system raise their children for them - whether public or private. In other cases there was a degree of teaching, discipline and leadership, but also carelessness, neglect or distance relationally - too many holes in the love they saw and experienced. This is usually between the parents themselves, and they and the child, not simply one or the other. It is not only what is taught that is important, but also what is "caught". The coldness or darkness in these homes shapes their view of the entire society, its authority and existing "order", regardless of what that "order" may be.
