Although many have said that Curtis Sliwa should drop out of the race, it is actually Andrew Cuomo who needs to drop out. He is an already-known quantity, a long-standing crooked politician and the main architect for the present conditions in NYC. He has absolutely nothing new or better to offer. His atrocious leadership is the reason why Mamdani is even known. As a Cuomo, and with NYC being a democrat stronghold, he should have been able to win the Democrat primary without it even being a contest. Instead, was beaten by a communist who has no real answers and wasn't even known by his neighbors a year ago. Rather than gracefully bowing out of the race, knowing how unpopular he really is, Cuomo thus far has stubbornly chose to stay in the race and run as an independent, and thus split the vote three ways. Like always, this has caused tremendous division in the city and serves to hand Mamdani the win. If he really cares about NYC and does not want Mamdani to win, he needs to drop out, and do so NOW, so that the support can be unified, with a clean, unhindered race between just the two candidates from the two major parties. This is the way to defeat Mamdani and bring a win for Curtis Sliwa. He has a long track record of genuine care for NYC, knows it like the back of his hand and is the only choice in this race for real, positive change.

Good communication has a certain natural rhythm and cadence; It can be easily felt and anticipated by the listeners, which should include moderators. A moderator who is truly intelligent/versed in communication can discern the type of communication, and is confident in working with the actual flow of ideas and conversation. They know when to let the speaker come to a natural end, even if it runs slightly over the "time limit", verses when ...
