There is a reason why the left has never taken issue with the migration from the big cities and "blue" states to other places in the country. It is because this migration suits their agenda perfectly. It effects, nearly always for the worse, the areas of the country that they do not directly control, and it does nothing to counter their agenda and its resulting problems in the country. Instead, it helps solidify their control, since there are fewer and fewer reasonable-minded people who live in these areas to oppose them and support an alternative. This migration serves their two-edged goal of de-industrialization, and of waging war on rural America and the suburbs with what amounts to clutter and overpopulation.
One of the main drivers of this entire agenda is the hamstringing of law-enforcement, and unprosecuted crime. This, truth be told, is why the left opposes basic law-enforcement so much.
If just a quarter of the people who used to live in Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles in the 1980's had stayed, there would have been no chance that the likes of Letitia James, Brandon Johnson or Karen Bass would ever come near a place of government authority.
Typically, it is the responsibility of local and state-level authority to enforce the laws in their respective cities or states. But when there has been a circuit of local officials who have all agreed as a national syndicate to undermine their cities, jeopardize their citizens and ignore U.S law, it becomes a national and thus federal concern.

For the first time since its formation in 1970, the EPA has acknowledged that CO2 is actually not an inherent threat to the environment. This is very important and a historical victory; The idea of CO2 and fossil fuels being a threat to the environment is the foundational, scientific argument for the theory of "Global Warming", with its untold regulations, restrictions and outright bans regarding domestic industry since the 1980's. Though they claim concern for the environment, they are the ones who recently cut a wide, nine-mile long road through the Amazon Rain Forest, to suit their yearly travel to Davos.
One of their most important bans is the ban on CFC's, which began in the late 1980's and fully crystallized with the Montreal Protocol in 1990. The Montreal Protocol placed an international ban on chemicals used in many of the critical areas of industry, ranging from firefighting to air-conditioning, from electronics and computer boards to home insulation and the medical field. One of the main explanations for Manhattan's political and cultural condition might be that it is home to the national Communist Party headquarters, which was located on 23 West 26th Street. In August 1960, the Party's National Executive Committee held a high-level conference in New York City where Daniel Rubin, the National Youth Secretary, advocated the holding of a national youth conference, to establish a new Marxist youth group. To this end, Rubin made an extended tour of the college campuses. Out of this effort, the party's program for speaking at colleges was born. This program became the party's major weapon for achieving its "new look" and respectability. The first person to speak at the campuses was Rubin himself. Then Herbert Aptheker. Then Hyman Lumer, Benjamin J. Davis, Jr., Carl Winter, Elizabeth Gurley Flynn and James Jackson, all of them top officials for the Party. They were careful at first not to identify themselves publicly as communist officials, with Rubin presenting ...
